01 May Managing Knowledge Flow
Knowledge is not a substance waiting to be discovered but to be created.
“Knowledge is more than just a simple collection of information. The most prominent feature of knowledge, compared with physical resources and information, is that it is born of human interaction. It is not a self-contained substance waiting to be discovered and collected. Knowledge is created by people in their interactions with each other and the environment. Hence, to understand knowledge, we must first understand the human beings and the interactive process from which knowledge emerges.”
